Centropa Hungary brought together 29 students from Budapest for an engaging whole day seminar.
The seminar included interactive workshops, film screenings and work with interactive material developed for HerStories project available on the HerStories website. Students learnt about the personal stories of the 7 Jewish women, their experiences of persecution, deportation and flight, but also of survival, resistance and rebuilding lives after the Holocaust and World War II. One of the training highlights was the meeting of students with the Holocaust survivor, Vera Szekeres-Varsa, whose life story is part of the HerStories project.
