We invite you to the seminar "HerStories - Biographies of European Jewish Women" in Kraków

When?
November 24-26, 2023

Where?
In the Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakow

For whom?
For Polish and Ukrainian teachers and educators interested in Jewish history and the Holocaust

What to expect?
The seminar program includes almost exclusively workshops, and we will also devote a lot of time to working on lesson and workshop scenarios, as well as ideas for school and interschool projects. The seminar is carried out as part of the international HerStories project, and presents the complicated Jewish history of the 20th century in Europe through the biographies of seven Jewish women from Germany, Poland, Greece, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. These women's stories include experiences of persecution, deportation and escape, but also survival, resistance and rebuilding of life after the Holocaust. Taken together, these individual stories help paint a picture of the diversity of Jewish women's fate and the history of Europe in the 20th century.
